Being disabled, I spend a lot of time at home and, as I live alone, have decided to have a cat for company. I grew up with a blue Persian, but am investigating various breeds. I really fancy a black Bombay, glossy black with golden eyes – striking and lively. What shall I have to keep him company, as everything I read says two cats are better and happier than one? Sold – a Norwegian Forest – I read that, while a Maine Coon will watch with interest everything you do, a Norwegian Forest cat will help you do it. Right, these are the cats for me – a Bombay and a Wegie, two neuter boys. Norwegian Forest boy found near Scarborough through the Norwegian Forest Cat Club. He will be ready to leave home in March, however no Bombays around at present – help! Problem solved by breeder who says he is very close indeed to his sister, so would I take her as well? Oh well, OK, can a girl be so different?
