DK Rosie Gyldenlove came to join us in May last year. Her parents are International Champion (N) Coco Islands Leo and Grand International Champion DK Vinja Gyldenlove.
I also like the philosophies behind Gyldenlove and, knowing that Carli is an absolute stickler for checking and rechecking the health of her cats and cattery, am so glad she allowed Rosie to come here.
Rosie was mated to Vieuxtemps Valentine last year and had three really beautiful kittens, 2 boys who are living happily in Buckinghamshire and a girl who has stayed with us. They were so lovely that we repeated the mating this year and kittens were born on July 14th 2008. Both boys are now settled in their new homes and, once again, Rosie’s daughter has stayed with us.
Rosie has a great sense of fun. When she first came, she used to steal
tissues out of my pockets and socks from anywhere she could find them. She
has now improved her skills, so I often come home to find my underwear
scattered about, although lately any coins lying about also go missing!
Carli, her breeder, suggested a career in a circus!!! |
